Sambar Recipe

Hot sambar is a delicious and flavorful accompaniment to soft idli and crispy dosa. Sambar is a lentil-based stew that is typically made with a variety of vegetables and a mix of aromatic spices, giving it a complex and satisfying flavour. The spiciness of the sambar is perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the vegetables and the tanginess of the tamarind, creating a flavour profile that is both bold and harmonious.  When paired with soft idli, the sambar provides a rich and satisfying contrast to the mild and subtle flavours of the idli. The soft texture of the idli also absorbs the flavours of the sambar, making it even more delicious.  Similarly, when paired with crispy dosa, the sambar's flavours and textures are further enhanced by the crispy and airy texture of the dosa. The crispy and tangy dosa complements the thick and hearty sambar, providing a delightful mix of textures and flavours in each bite.

Overall, the combination of hot sambar with soft idli and crispy dosa is a classic and delicious meal that is sure to satisfy your taste buds. The flavours and textures of the sambar, idli, and dosa complement each other perfectly, creating a meal that is both comforting and nourishing.
